Pakistan Bomb Attack

Today another bomb attack took place in the city of Chakwal in Pakistan. This is a devastating trend that the country is facing. It is estimated that 24 people have lost their lives in this attack and 35 have been injured, however the number of deaths could increase because some of those injured are critical. Some politicians such as the former cricketer turned politician Imran Khan has blamed the US policies of drone attacks in the FATA region. However others have started to pint the finger towards the government. This government of the PPP under Zardari has led the country to an economic downturn, which in turn has led to increased numbers living under the poverty line. The government has failed to show any signs of strong policies and Zardari keeps on mentioning the death of his wife and thinking that the nation will keep forgiving his mistakes because of her name. I’m sorry Mr Zardari it is time to wake up, the nation and the international community is sick of your failure to show any direction. A few annalists have even suggested that the Zardari government has purposely weakened the state of Pakistan because of the actions it took wince coming to power. Especially in concern with the Inelegance Services. The things that people are referring to are:

1. Changing the director general of the ISI

2. Announcing the defence budget (which had not been done in the past)

3. Trying to put the ISI under Rehman Malik (a minister)

The question now remains weather the government can now deliver the promises it made before taking office and turn the country around to prosperity as well as control these bomb attacks. How they do it is up to them, the people just want results!
