The move was taken because the United Nations to assess North Korea had violated UN resolutions banning the communist state’s nuclear activities and ballistic missile launches. As reported byBBC, Tuesday (17/04/2012).
United Nations Security Council (UN), condemned the missile launch North Korea (Korea), and threatened additional sanctionsfor Pyongyang.
Thus, the UN sanctions committee will formulate further measuresagainst North Korea in the next 15 days.
This is not the first time the United Nations issued sanctions forNorth Korea, recorded in 2006 and 2009, they also impose tough sanctions on North Korea.
Previously, North Korea on Friday (4/13/2012), launched their homemade missiles, although under international criticism. Theyinsisted, the missile development program aimed at both, in the framework of the study.
However, the missile launch was not a success. The missile fellinto the sea minutes after launch.
According to the Japan Ministry of Defense, the missile was lifted up as far as 120 kilometers, before it split into four and fell into the sea.
