With the recent nuclear testing and missile launches in North Korea, South Korea is now on high alert anticipating North Korea’s next move. North Korea has  threatened to attack if their vessels are intercepted.

Seoul Korea joined more than 90 nations involved in stopping North Korea’s ships for inspection since their threats. What they are in search of is weapons being smuggled into North Korea.

On May 28th it denounced the treaty that was put into place in 1953. The truce stated the fighting needed to stop in the Korean war. North Korea told its media they were looking for an attack led by America but the United States denies these claims.

South Korea and America have exceeded the heightened alert and if this starts a small battle this could turn into a devastation with nuclear war. Both Korea’s are still technically at war and have been since their treaty has never been replaced.

South Korea-US has raised its alert status and it is the highest it has been since 2006 when North Korea first tested a nuclear weapon. With the heightened level of alert North Korea does not seem to be moving in the same direction. There does not seem to be the same level of activity as with the South.

Between Japan and South Korea there are more than 78 thousand American troops within range of striking North Korea’s missiles. South Korea also deployed a destroyer to the borders of North Korea just in case there is a conflict to take place.

Seoul seems confident that with the United States help they would be able to hold off the North if need be. Even with North Korea’s allies of China and Russia.

Some believe that leader Kim Jong II is causing all this commotion to prepare his son who will become his predecessor. To raise fear in the region and to let others know the strength that North Korea possesses. It is also believed these actions are to test our new President to see what he will do in this situation.

Diplomats and Hilary Clinton the Secretary of State both agree that North Korea needs to back off or suffer some kind of consequences. What those consequences will be still remains unclear.

It has been said that Japan may impose its own sanctions upon North Korea but are waiting to see what the rest of the world come up with in their discussions that are taking place right now.

What will happen with this alert status in the Korea’s. With the Unites States in full crap in the Middle East lets pray this just all boils over without incident. Isn’t one war enough, or are we going to end up in a much larger and more dangerous situation with all that’s going on at the 38th Parallel right now.
