Okay, so many people around the world is talking about the man eating cat fish in China which was caught. I know that cat fish only feed off waste in the oceans or lakes. So I had to take a look. To my surprise this cat fish looked exactly like a whale shark in a magazine I read. So I looked at the comments on the bottom of each photo, just in case. How come China is so stupid? Like honestly, I am Asian, Chinese to be precise. But, oh my god they were stupid. As much as I wanted to agree with the people who are constantly insulting Chinese people I can’t. But it is true, whale shark, for sure. These were picks of whale sharks, now go on Google and type in http://www.axisofinfo.com/?p=4 and the website for this, let say, discovery and compare.

Man eating catfish isn’t true, maybe in the future maybe now. But no one has discovered this “man eating catfish”. So therefore, no, no man eating catfish exist for now.

My opinion is, since I have bee hearing rumors from my mother, to my aunts about this story. This isn’t a catfish, it’s a whale shark. If you want to hear the story of which my parents have told me, thy said “This cat fish was found in a lake that many people were disappearing in, swimmer, water skiers, etc.” Afterwards they told me about this myth that was related to this lake and this creature. (Chinese myth)
Don’t read the myth, I find it stupid.
Along time ago, a great monk lives in the area gathering fresh water from the same lake, but one day when he reached this lake. A powerful misted of evil, or devilish gas arose in the air. As he was gather water, ignoring the mist, because he believed that the gods will protect him. Blood above the water flowed to shore. Quickly the monk ran away, to gather his supplies to fight off this evil presents. As he came back with an ash holder. (Where you stick preying candles or something like that in a big bowl to prey) He lost to the evil presents. Therefore he though this ash holder (which was huge be the way) into the lake to cover this creature inside it over it so it may not harm anything.
Of course this ash holder bowl is there in the water where they caught the whale shark (Cat fish if you will).
It’s funny how one myth can cause so much trouble in society.

thats not a cat fish, i think these people are stupid, poor shark, it did no harm to anybody, it just eat krill not humans stupids
They’re cutting up the Whale Shark because in China, guess what? Whale Shark is served as a delicacy. Its not man-eating. Its a filter-feeder .They usually feed on a wide variety of planktonic and nektonic organisms, phytoplankton, microalgae, and other creatures such as small squids. Not only that, but they also eat eggs of other fish. Not people. Really, use your head!
