Big Bank Bust

Last week in Sydney on Friday the 29th of August, 2 men were arrested for robbing a bank in the city. The three men were spotted walking into the bank armed with guns and were wearing masks. 3 people were injured in the incident as they were shot in the arm whist being held as a hostage.

At 11:30am the three men walked into the bank with no hesitation to pull their gun on innocent people. They were holding 3 people as hostages incase anybody tried to stop them during the robbery. They got the money, and then shot the 2 hostages on their way out. As they were leaving the bank, the police arrived and arrested the 2 criminals.

“I’m scared for my sake and my children’s sake” said a local woman, “we have to stop these criminals before more people get hurt” she also added.

The court case is scheduled for 5th September where they will be tried for armed robbery and attempted murder. This is the 4th bank robbery in Sydney this month and people are getting worried. The police coroner, Bill Smith, said “I will not stand for these kinds of criminals anymore, this has to stop now”. If the jury finds the 3 men guilty, they we be jailed for up to 3 years and fined more than $100,000.
