Croat Davor Dundovic doesn’t have water for eight days at his home, so he has no choice but to wash himself on the fountain Zemunik Donji in Zadar. From Zadar Waterworks say that they can’t do anything because there is a low pressure and people are using water in huge amounts.

Tourists from all over the world and of course Croats on Tuesday evening saw Davor Dundovic naked and couldn’t take spring water. Davor Dundovic was washing himself without any shame in protest against water shortage.

– I have no choice because the faucet in my house has not a drop of water for eight days! Only this way I can wash myself – said sansculotte Dundovic and continued with physical hygiene in the open to protest the frequent water shortages.

From Zadar Waterworks say that water is disappearing because of the low pressure and because people are using water in large amounts in the summer. They claim that there was not a continuous shortage of eight days, but just occasionally in some parts of Zemunik. The solution to the problem reaches the end of the year. Until then it will be set a new pipeline, on which the works have already begun.

A Dundovic will be, until the pressure in the pipe become stronger, washing himself in public, chasing away tourists.
