But yesterday things took a far more disturbing turn when the actress’s decapitated, and limbless body was pulled out of a canal at Hackney. While police have yet to formally confirm the identification of the actress, a close friend of the actress is said to have been at the location having rushed to the scene after the alert was raised, and was overheard to state that the body was that of McCluskie.

Today police arrested a thirty-five-year-old man called Tony, who is said to be the brother of McCluskie, in relation to the death.
Gemma McCluskie became known to Eastenders fans as Kerry, the blond haired trouble making friend of Zoe Slater. Her character caused ripples in Albert Square from the very day she arrived, and messed with the heart of Robbie Jackson in the process in order to gain attention. It was this incident that caused her departure.
