German Hackers Have Collected for Wikileaks 750 Thousand Euro

German fund of a name of Vau Holland (Wau-Holland-Stiftung) which founders are connected with German hacker club Chaos Computer Club, have collected 750 thousand euro of donations for site WikiLeaks specializing on information leakages, informs Welt.
According to the edition, Holland’s fund Vau is the basic source of financing WikiLeaks. Besides payment of the server from fund means the salary was paid to ten employees of a site and an overhead charge, including travel of the founder of a site of Dzhuliana Assanzha became covered.

Now on a fund site the announcement with an appeal is placed to make donations in favor of WikiLeaks. As marks Welt, the chairman of fund Vinfrid Mottskus (Winfried Motzkus) has promised in the near future to publish the data about receipt of means and their expenditure.

Holland’s fund Vau has been based in 2003 by relatives and close friends of the known journalist to Germany and the expert in IT technologies Hervarta Holland-Moritz (Herwart Holland-Moritz), died in 2001. Holland has received popularity as one of founders of the oldest hacker club Chaos Computer Club which has been created in 1981.
