A team of scientists (nerds), engineers and sailors have formed a group called solar planet. The group is building a eight foot long boar in Kiel, Germany and to sail around the world with nothing but the sun. The boat itself will coast $13 mil and will have 5,060 feet of solar panels. The project is being funded by a Swiss company that invests in green technology. The team will sail from France sometime next year and will have several stops along the way. You are probably thinking waht will they do when they are on the seas, well who knows.
