Pope Benedict says bones of St. Paul are real.

According to Pope Benedict XVI, a scientific test conducted with the supposed remains of St. Paul “seems to confirm” their authenticity.
Only recently archaeologists excavated and pried open an ancient marble sarcophagus found under the Basilica of St. Paul’s in Rome, which has been believed to be Christianity’s founding father’s tomb for 2,000 years.
The Pontiff said at a service in the basilica that the authentication procedures were based on carbon dating tests on bone fragments found inside the sarcophagus which “confirm the unanimous and uncontested tradition that they are the mortal remains of the Apostle Paul.”
In addition to that, the Vatican newspaper had declared another discovery already earlier this Saturday: Allegedly a gold fresco showing the skinny face of St Paul had been found in the tombs of St Tecla, Rome.
