This is the latest news about a flying car which was reveled by the British media on Tuesday.

On Tuesday a flying car was revealed by the BBC that flies at the speed 70mph in the air. It is manufactured by 29 year old British engineer Gilo Cardozo.  It is world’s first bio-fuelled flying car. It is called Parajet Skycar and it starts its first journey on Wednesday 14 of January for 42 days from London to Africa.

The ex-SAS officer Nail Laughton is the main pilot and he would be jointed by its creator Gilo Cardozo to journey to Africa. Mr. Nail told the BBC in an interview on Tuesday that reliability of the car is important and crucial. “We’re going to have to cope with wind chill temperatures as low as -30C and blistering heat up to 50C. But it’s been fully tested at a secret location and it 100% works. I thought this would be an interesting challenge. Timbuktu is an iconic and quirky destination,” said Mr. Laughton.

It is believed that Parajet Skycar would be in the market for sale in the next 14-18 months time. The manufactures said that the speed of the Parajet Skycar on the road is 120 mile per hour whereas in the air it is 70 mile per hour. It is so unique that it can transform itself from a road car to a plane within 15 seconds, which is very impressive.

In an article published in the Times Online.com on Tuesday it reads: “Carl Dietrich, who runs the Massachusetts-based Terrafugia, said: “This is the first really integrated design where the wings fold up automatically and all the parts are in one vehicle.” In the long term we have the potential to make air travel practical for individuals at a price that would meet or beat driving, with huge time saving.” http/business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/industry_sectors/engineering/article5489287.
