Faculty of The Istanbul University Have Dispersed for The Pornodiploma

Three teachers of prestigious Turkish university Istanbul Bilgi University have been dismissed after the student of faculty of mass media (Communications) Deniz Ezgjun (Deniz Ozgun) has tried to hand over a pornofilm as the thesis. On it informs BBC News.

Besides dismissal of three leading teachers, the administration of university has made decision temporarily to close all faculty of mass-media on which there is a cinematography chair. Investigation concerning incident there has begun police. The group of teachers has tried to stand up for the dismissed colleagues, whether however had this any influence, isn’t informed.

Idea of the thesis of Ezgjuna was to shoot a pornographic film, and then to “expose” production sexual scenes in it, having underlined them ненатуральность. The teachers supervising work, have approved its draft variant, however have asked to bring in the diploma more than an intellectual component. The student, most likely, with a problem hasn’t consulted, as the final variant of the diploma has been rejected by chair.

Incident could be settled on it, however Ezgjun has told about the project to the journalist of the local newspaper the publication in which has caused scandal. Parents of pupils in Bilgi have demanded to understand that occurs at university. As a result the author of a film and its workmate, the former student Bilgi, have been compelled to disappear to avoid arrest.

Private university Istanbul Bilgi University is reputed as liberal educational institution. It became one of the first where it was authorized to students not to close the person contrary to Muslim tradition.
