While it is true that Iran is generally prone to seismic activity and earthquakes are not uncommon there, the twin earthquakes that hit near the city of Tabriz last Saturday might not have been a purely natural disaster.
The scientist mostly deny any connection between nuclear testing and earthquakes that often occur near the areas that such testing had place, but it is quite possible that such powerful explosions especially when carried out underground could set off an earthquake in already earthquake prone areas such as north-western Iran.
What is especially suspicious in this case is the fact that the earthquakes hit only 11 minutes apart from each other and were of almost equal strength magnitude 6.3 and 6.2 respectively, when usually the earthquake that precedes a bigger one or an aftershock is of a much lesser magnitude than the main event.
The U.S geological survey quickly pointed out that the earthquakes’ zone was not near any known nuclear facility, but what if it had been close to an unknown one? The Iranian regime does not even hide the fact that it is still aggressively working on its nuclear program despite all the sanctions and threats from U.S and European Union as well as Israel. It has also worked on new nuclear facilities before while denying it only to admit to it later like in the case of its nuclear facilities in Natanz and Arak. Therefore it is very likely that it might have some underground facilities in the mountainous region near Tabriz as well.
I would not be surprised at all if in the near future it gets discovered or even worse if Iran declares that it has conducted a successful nuclear test. The regime in Tehran is most likely working on it even more feverishly now when it looks like they are about to lose its key ally in the region, which is Assad regime in Syria.
Iranian regime would love to be able to announce itself a nuclear power and back the faltering Syrian regime. It would certainly be a proverbial game changer in more ways than one.
Adding to these concerns is the latest report of International Atomic Agency warning the international community that it has reason to suspect that Iran has past and possibly new undisclosed nuclear facilities related to its nuclear program in which they are directly developing a nuclear payload for a missile. The report stated that this information is “broadly consistent and credible in terms of technical detail, the time frame in which these activities were conducted and the people and organisations involved.”
If the world does not head the warnings, the very war everyone is so afraid to cause by any military intervention will be upon us anyway, and will be far more devastating than the results of any pre-emptive strike against Iran by either United States or Israel could be.

Honestly, I do not trust anyone in the government of this country. They are not honest, they lie to the world and perhaps these earthquakes were not natural disasters. I wonder if we will ever learn the truth. It is sad for the people who were injured and for those families who lost their lives…
Poor for that country
thanks for ur article
btw, i hope we can share each other, u also can read my articles to on my triond. Regards Vanila
I agree it is quite possible that they were started by nuclear testing, but I really believe there is a spiritual aspect here
and there were several smaller aftershocks in Iran that day and after as well as one today there was also one 7.7 in Russia and 6.3 in China in the last couple of days, perhaps they are testing too or perhaps the birth pangs are getting closer and closer together or maybe both things are possible, I have a link to the earth quake center that is updated regularily hope you like it;

Yes, frightening indeed. Governments are crazy, and it takes a big disaster to wake people up.
peace
love peace this my poems Love http://authspot.com/poetry/love-1031/
Omg! I’m so afraid of earthquakes,So sad.I felt an earthquake once here in Pakistan.Pray for the victims and the survivors.
If Iran succeeds in testing their first nuclear weapon, this will stabilise the already-fragile balance of relations between countries. Nuclear proliferation is thought by many to be very dangerous, with only a handful saying that horizontal proliferation is a good thing for balance of power. I don’t know what to think anymore. The only problem with Tehran acquiring nuclear bombs is that it is spending far beyond its means and its ruthless totalitarian antics are likely to mean that the nuclear weapons will be deployed to surrounding states (cue Israel).
This is bad news.
We will never know the truth, but we have always had unstable weather.
there is a possibility that Iran has tested their first atomic bomb. it is also possible that US is going to attack Iran and kill 500,000 people just like in Iraq. it is also possible that US realizes that it was just an earthquake! but will US people realize what they are doing is murder? and just access panic? and learn form their past mistake? i guess not.
