Libya is currently raging with war. The loyalists of Moammar Gadhafi and the rebels are fighting constantly.
In case you haven’t seen the news lately, I will tell you now that Libya is currently undergoing a crisis. The West has finally has sent aid over to Libya, but it was difficult to deploy since Moammar Gadhafi’s regime is centralized in the capital. The result of this was food prices soaring and unhappy people.

Both sides are holding out strong in their positions. The rebels are trying everything they can to win and so is the capital. The winner of this revolution will be whoever can hold out the longest. Currently both sides are trying to gain support from the world and stock pile weapons and ammunition. Armored cars equipped and carrying guns from both sides have been seen as they are making their way back to friendly lines.
This Libyan revolution will hopefully end peacefully or at least with as little as possible blood loss.

I like this post
I hope so too. There are many innocent people stranded with the crisis there.. Hope it all ends peacefully…:-]
Hope it ends peacefully. I’ve heard in the news that there are still many Filipinos stranded there. And those who were able to go back here in the Philippines recounts their scary experiences, hearing gunshots everywhere. Really hoping it ends soon…
I hope it ends peacefully also. I don’t know though, Gadhafi has apparently said he will die before he steps down. Great writing!
Gadhafi’s days as ruler of Libya are number. It’s just a matter of time before he goes.
You forgot to mention the sly rocketing of gas prices in North America due to this. Still, great write!
the ordinary people are always the victims of political or natural crisis.
Thanks for sharing
hopefully this is similar to egypt…which was relatively peaceful.
I hope things get better soon.
