Middle Eastern Nightmare
Being American means many things. Is our legacy in America to be over oil and wars?
Who controls the world controls the money and the people. We Americans seem to be entrenched in fighting. We are now adding Libya to our stash of wars. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and Libya.
If we continue to bomb every country back into submission what do we gain? If you ask military personal most will respond with the typical, “our freedom,” slogan. Our freedom is being taken away by our very own government year after year. We are the top nation in the world with the most incarcerated persons on the planet. What does this tell you about America?
Oil seems to be what we are really fighting for. We love our leaders to tell us how crazy some dictator is. In reality the people in every country have the power to rise up against a tyrant.
The history of the middle-east has been three thousand years of fighting. They seem to love to fight just as much as Americans seem to enjoy fighting everyone in the world. While we are not yet 300 years old.
What I am speaking of is the drive behind each of these wars. First we were told weapons of mass destruction. Then we were told tyranny. Then we were told they are hiding the bad guys. Now we are told he is nut’s and killing his own people.
What we need to be concerned with is the fact we are stepping ever closer on Russia and China’s government territories. They do business with the middle east and have close contacts there as we do. What is the real story behind all this action, oil? Are we nearing its end? Or are we unwilling to let the oil consumption end and move forward with new technology?
Why are we so enthralled with policing the world? How will we ever get out of the middle eastern nightmare we have created?
