The prosecutors are trying hard to get evidence and witnesses in order to convict the suspected master mind of the mass murder which is known to be the Maguindanao Masscare last Nov. 23.

In connection to this, the families of the victims express their concerns because of the slow movement of justice so they plead for the the immediate trial of the case.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) special panel of prosecutors still has no witness until now that directly links to the arrested suspects of the murder of 57 people, including 30 members of media.

Human Rights has become an issue because of the imprisonment of the suspects while there are no formal charges against them. The charge of the multiple murder case against Datu Unsay Zaldy Ampatuan Jr. is now in an  ongoing trial in Quezon City. Autunomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Governor Zaldy Ampatuan and Maguindanao Governor Andal Ampatuan Sr. remains detained since they’ve been arrested by the military since President Arroyo ordered martial rule in the Region last week.
