Another Private Contractor For The Government Is Being Investigated. Allegations include prostitution and frat house antics.

Another private contractor to the U.S. military is in hot water. ArmorGroup, a private security firm owned by Wackenhut, is being investigated by the State Department after the release of photos showing the guards in charge of providing security to the U.S. Embassy in Kabul participating in Frat house like activities.

The pictures show men, some naked, simulating anal sex, urinating on one another, drinking alcohol that is being poured on another’s butt and eating chips from the same body part.

In an interview with ABC News, one of the twelve guards that has gone public with the allegations, a U.S. military veteran, said that top supervisors of ArmorGroup were not only aware of the “deviant sexual acts” but also helped to organize them.

As this investigation unfolds, one should ask oneself, is this how the world should view Americans.

A nonprofit organization, Project On Government Oversight (POGO), said on its website that it has sent a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton detailing the problems.

The letter alleges that besides the frat boy activities there were also incidences where prostitutes were brought in for birthday parties and guards were involved in drunken fights.

Previously I had reported on underage prostitution and smuggling allegations brought against Blackwater in Afghanistan, now it is ArmorGroup. There have been detainees who have died under enhanced interrogations by private contractors as well. These are events that the public knows of, many other incidences the public may never learn about.

All three companies still have contracts with the government and act as though laws do not apply to them. Their actions directly influence the behavior of our(American) enemies. When will the contractors serve time for their “deviant” actions?

Currently the ratio of enlisted men to contracted men is nearly 1 to 1. Our enemies will not see a difference between the two and neither should laws governing these “men”.
