An account of a protest that ended today in my street. I am posting this because the newspapers are saying the opposite to what happened.
This a true account of events that ended today October 15 2010. The media told this story in another light and I’m posting this to correct it. This is all fact.
The newspapers say that the structure was “un-sound”. Via Savona 18, Milano. The structure was a old appartment block a gem of Milano. Every year these are converted into retail stores. Brave people moved in to avoid this outcome. Thursday the police moved in and pulled them out one by one. They held their ground in protest 100 meters away blocking the road. They stood for 48 hours. They dispersed. This short account I hope will be read by Italiani e internazionali (italians and internationals). Savona 18 resisted
