How many other States and their people in America are suffering due to the outrageous neglect of our government leaders? How many more small businesses must we loose? Just where is our Tax Money going?
Governor Schwarzenegger of California has repeatedly asked and even demanded a budget from our government legislature that will help his state of California, he even submitted his own budget that given a chance should fix many, if not all of the major issues; but the government refuses to aid its state. How many other states are having trouble getting help for their tax paying people?
The people paying the taxes, which also pays for the payroll of those in charge of making the major decisions concerning tax payers, businesses large and small and everything pertaining to the financial stability of a running government state have a right to know where their Federal money is being spent rather than just within their own states helping their people.
In the past California as well as a select few other states have paid more than many other states in America where taxes are concerned, yet California’s infrastructure; businesses; schools and people in general are in peril, why?
The government needs money for their pet projects we the people pay it; the government needs money for their payroll raises we the people pay it; the government needs money for their banker friends we the people pay it; we the people need money to fix our states, counties, towns, etc., and we are ignored. We the people pay out so much in taxes now that isn’t legal for them to demand of the people, so why are the people needs being ignored? Even when the government was giving some of the tax payer’s money back to fix things it was always the main cities that took the bulk of it while outer lining areas where tax payers also live, send their children to school, buy groceries, dry clean their clothes and more are forced to wait; many times years, or do without repairs all together.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not putting down other states, it’s just that California has been known for many years for their tourist attractions of warm Pacific waters, high surfs, great beaches, high profile actors and actresses and so much more. It is because of states like California that the government has so much income from the taxes to begin with to help other states and such. It is as though the government doesn’t get it; without these high profile states creating all that income they wouldn’t have enjoyed so much money to just give away whether to themselves or to their pet projects or friends.
The one thing we can all be sure of is the money taken through taxation was not wisely spent to provide for the greater good of the American people. The question now is what can be done about it without further overburdening the tax payers and their states? If the government can literally give away multi billions of dollars to multi-billion dollar companies who used the tax payers money to live it up in a fancy hotel, having fancy dinners, getting personal stuff like facials and massages then come back taking more tax payers money one could believe the government would give money to states of the nation that needs the money to provide for their people, most of which paid out that money to begin with.
