Every single day there seems to be some new area of our lives that government has decided that we simply should not be left to decide for ourselves.
On June 22, 2009 President Obama signed HR 1265 into law. The Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act will ban “harm-reduced” cigarettes, those labeled “mild” or “light”, and flavored cigarettes.
No more clove cigarettes.
No more herb or spice flavored cigarettes including strawberry, vanilla, grape, orange, or cinnamon.
If you like menthol, breathe a sigh of relief, you get a pass this time. Probably thanks to support of the bill by the tobacco company Altria Group. Formerly known as Philip Morris.
The bill now gives the FDA control over tobacco regulation.
Don’t look at me…I didn’t vote for him!

I didn’t vote for him either! Way too intelligent for that! But quit that smoking! Yes you can! If I could, you can. Get Allen Carr’s “Easy Way to Stop Smoking” it really is easy and in a week, I was a non-smoker. Best of Luck!
I used to smoke but docent do it anymore due to asthma. The smokers will have to decide whats more important to them. But it makes me wonder if Black and Mild cigars will be next.
this is nuts… I could understand if it was banning ALL tobacco… If they are banning flavored cigarettes like cloves they should be banning menthol as well then… menthol is a flavored cigarette… I WANT MY CLOVES! darn it… if we smokers want to kill our lung cells that is our choice…
Haha stupid yanks
This is ridiculous.
Is this A joke or something?
