Nestle recall.
No sooner are we over the peanut butter recall, it is followed by a pistachio nut recall. Now we can add Nestle Tollhouse refrigerated cookie dough to the list of recalled foods. Many American consumers have had adverse reactions that have ended in hospitalization. These reactions have recently been attributed to refrigerated cookie dough products made by the Nestle company.
E. coli bacteria is nothing to mess with so the Nestle company has voluntarily recalled all of its refrigerated cookie dough products they have stocked in supermarket dairy cases. The Federal Centers For Disease Control have made the probable link between the E. coli illnesses and the widespread consumption of Nestle refrigerated cookie dough.
The Food and Drug Administration is strongly advising consumers to throw away any refrigerated cookie dough products from their homes. Likewise, all Nestle cookie dough items have subsequently been removed from supermarkets and other related businesses for the safety of all consumers.
Hopefully, this recent recall will not be a long one so the many fans of Nestle Tollhouse Cookie Dough necessities will be able to enjoy them once again. Nestle has proven in the past to be a trusted company they certainly can be proud of. After careful testing and considerations, Nestle should be back on track and our favorite cookie dough will be back to stay in supermarkets, retail stores, and restaurants across the country.
