D.c. Sniper John Allen Muhammed Executed Tuesday Night

Just last night, 11/10/2009, The Infamous D.C. Area Sniper was Executed by Lethal Injection. The room was filled with Lawyers, Victims, and Family of Victims, but does this execution really seem to make those who were hurt feel closure?

It is surprising that Muhammad’s accomplice Lee Boyd Malvo was not also executed. Instead he was giving a life sentence in prison. Even though they both committed the same crimes, and both of them worked together, Boyd will live to see another day.

“Well, myself, I wish Malvo was right there beside Muhammad,” said Moore, whose sister, FBI analyst Linda Franklin, was gunned down in Virginia.

Muhammad was declared dead at 9:11PM EST Time. Executed in the Virginia Department of Corrections Death Chamber. There was no type of complications, Muhammad had nothing to say from the time he walked to his cell, until the time of his death, reported by Larry Taylor.

“Mr. Muhammad maintains his innocence in this case, and he always has. He is not remorseful, although he does extend his condolences to the families. What these families went through is tragic in every level. Given the injustices in this case, what Mr. Muhammad went through is equally as tragic,” said J. Wyndal Gordon, who was Muhammad’s stand-by attorney in his Maryland trial, in which he represented himself.

Amazingly reported by Muhammad’s Lawyer he remained innocent to himself, and truly didn’t believe that he did anything wrong.
