Dad, Dad, Help Me Dad!

“Dad, Dad, Help Me Dad”, were possibly the last words exclaimed by Kelly Thomas while he was being savagely beaten by SIX (6) Fullerton, California police officers.  The citizens of Fullerton, California are rightfully outraged at the senseless beating,  and murder of a schytzophrenic drifter named Kelly Thomas. 

Kelly Thomas’ father has stated publicly that there has been a total lack of concern by the Fullerton, California Mayor’s Office, and all but two members of the city council.  Thanks to the many bloggers across the US this horrorific tragedy will not go unpunished.  

The Mayor of Fullerton Richard Jones speaking publicly for the first time seemed more concerned with civil unrest in the streets of Fullerton than the death of a Fullerton citizen at the hands of his police force.  According to Thomas’ father who is himself a former Orange County California deputy sheriff, the Six police officers were not even placed on administrative leave until he spoke with the

police chief.

 Kelly’s Father

Deputy District Attorney Susan Schroeder admitted to the press that they are now in possession and control of video tapes in which witnesses’ complain to a bus driver that: “the police are beating the shit out of a homeless man.”  Several witnesses who seemed unsure of what to do when someone is being beaten, and eventually killed by the police, were very obviously distraught.

Ms. Schroeder stated publicly that the prosecutor’s office was in the process of gathering evidence, and that they would pursue the evidence and possible criminal charges if warranted.  It should be noted that this departments involvement too, was only spurned forward after repeated articles such as this one, complained of yet another “coverup’ of police brutality.

This photo of Kelly Thomas, quite obviously at a better time in his life, showed a handsome young man with all of his life ahead of him.  According to his father, Kelly’s mental instability led to his being homeless, and his childlike behavior.  Names of the police officers involved have not yet been released to the general public. We believe, you can rest assured that NONE of these six “Bullies in Blue” will beat anymore innocent, defenseless citizens in Fullerton again.  Citizens of Fullerton and bloggers nationwide will make sure these six, armed and dangerous cops will pay a high price for their actions.  But then I Forget: “You Can’t Take the Truth!”
