A morning fire has destroyed much of the city’s main tourism.

A morning fire in Estate Park has massively destroyed the Park Theater Mall. Six businesses were destroyed in this fire, and is a tragic incident for property owners.

The mall is out side of East Elkhorn Avenue, and the Estates Volunteer Department were quickly on the scene. At 10.15 AM the roof of the mall collapsed, though the malls which were described as very small and weak, were still standing. Fox 31 are reporting that the fire was started in the attic above the Christmas shop.

The fire was very intense, the huge flames reached the front of the Mall, on the Elkhorn side, and when the wind was starting to pick up, fears were caused that the fire may spread throughout the mall, and into Downtown.
