Female Teacher Rapes Student, But Still Remains Employed by The City
A law teacher has been charged with raping one of her students, but still remains employed by the local authority.
In March this year Law Teacher Tara Driscoll (33) picked up her 16-year-old school student and took him to the Capri Motel in Long Island. Once there she raped the 16-year-old performing a variety of sexual acts on the boy, an encounter which she recorded for later viewing pleasure.
What makes this situation more bizarre however, is having admitted to having sex with the boy, something a law teacher would be aware of being as the legal age of consent is 17; Tara Driscoll is STILL employed by the City.
Campus Magnet High School confirmed that Driscoll has been re-assigned out of the classroom.
Driscoll is the second female teacher found to be taking advantage of her student, in as many months; and also the second teacher to be “re-assigned”.
The story broke when the student’s mother discovered that her son had engaged in a sexual relationship with his teacher. When police went into investigate, they found the sex tape in Driscoll’s belongings.
If found guilty Driscoll could face prison for breaching New York laws, however many are speculating that she could receive a non-custodial sentence.
Police are now examining the phone records of the teacher as it seems she had the telephone numbers for more than just one student in her mobile.
