The first man to step foot in the moon, Neil Armstrong passes away at the age of 82.
July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong made the whole world proud of him by being the first man ever to step on the moon and Armstrong officially became the first man to step foot in the moon. But yesterday, on 25th of August 2012, the great hero, died at the age of 82.
Born on 5th August 1930, US astronaut Neil Armstrong created history by being the first human being to ever step on the moon when he was 39 years old in the year 1969. At the age of 82, Neil Armstrong dies. Such a talented and intelligent man Neil Armstrong was, being an American astronaunt, a professor in the university, a test pilot and an aeronautical engineer.

One of the great phrases that is very popular which Neil Armstrong once told after he came back from his mission to the moon, said ”That’s one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind.” Indeed it was a great leap for mankind which a step Neil Armstrong made, created. The moon which was just a figure of beauty for poets in the Earth was possible to be visited, and Neil Armstrong made the whole world know that a man could land in the moon when he took his first step in the moon.

Well, after 43 years since this global hero Armstrong took his first step in the moon, he passed away yesterday, on the 25th of August 2012, and the whole world in mourning for having lost such a great hero. Neil Armstrong may have passed away, but has left with him memories, a history, a legendary deed and respect in the hearts of all the people. Not only the Americans, but the whole world mourns for his death and prays his soul rests in peace.
