Drama, drama, drama!

(Update 6/23/10) It is official, President Obama has accepted resignation from General McChrystal and has put General David Petraeus in his position(yes, the guy who fainted last week, Central Command Chief).

(6/22/10) This is interesting news. I find it very interesting considering the news about Rahm Emanuel leaving the administration. Especially since this news has only come out over the last 36 hours. If you are not aware of the Rahm-Blago fiasco, check out my article from yesterday:

Rahm Emanuel to Quit White House. Incoming Blago Scandal

Back to the newest White House drama. Rolling Stone did an interview with General McChrystal. The General also had aides present. McChrystal referred to the Obama administration as “wimps”,  that are “the real enemy”. In this article, aides of McChrystal were quoted as referring to Vice President Biden as “bite me”. And yet another aide, referred to Jim Jones, White House National Security Adviser, as a “clown” who is “stuck in 1985″.  This and more can all be found in the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine.

Since the release of this story, Obama has ordered McChrystal, to the White House, for a meeting in the situation room. I’d wager that Obama will fire him on the spot.

Is this a ruse? Very possible. The words that were flung around were pretty childish. Not untrue, but childish, none the less. If this is the real deal, I hope this is only the beginning of what we may hear General McChrystal say about the administration. Although, I wouldn’t hold my breath for anything other than McChrystal clamming up, real quick like. This could all be strategy, for a number of people involved.
