Man sues ex-wife for his kidney.

A surgeon from Long Island is demanding his donated kidney back, or $1.5 million. Richard Batista accuses his ex wife of having an affair with her physical therapist within a few years of the transplant.

When I first heard about this story, I thought he was suing for his kitty. That seemed strange enough, but a kidney? Where did he get $1.5 million from? Well turns out he had it appraised by a medical expert. There is now a price tag on organs. What is this world coming to when someone can demand an organ back or payment because their feelings were hurt. He made a choice to save her life. I applaud him for his selflessness at that time. However, I feel that his actions to sue her, implies that he would not have saved her life. He should be honored to have been able to save another human being. If she did have an affair, let that be on her conscience.
