Breaking News: Infant Murdered As It Was Forcibly Pulled From Mothers Womb And Stabbed to death With Scissors. It’s brain was removed.

If we saw this headline in our daily newspaper we would be horrified by the brutality of such a crime. However, this headline is not referring to a “crime”,  it refers to a high school senior who found herself in a quandary as  her accidental  pregnancy was advancing. Her mother decided that the girl shouldn’t have the baby and after months of arguing with her daughter, she finally convinced the frightened 17 year old to “abort the pregnancy.”  The only problem was that the pregnancy was coming into full term.

The young girl was already 26 weeks pregnant and In Colorado it was Illegal to perform such a late term abortion. The mother took her daughter to California where the law Allows abortions untill very late in the pregnancy.

The crying 17 year old was taken to an abortion clinic in the San Fernando Valley where she and her Mother were reassured that They were doing what was best for the girls future. An appointment was set for 08:30 am three days from the first appointment It would be a Thursday. What transpired that Thursday morning has caused the 17 year old to have a “nervous breakdown” and she is still being treated for depression. She is now 20 years old. She has given up on college and spends most of her day’s staring out a window wondering if her child, a little girl, would have liked a pony on for her third birthday if she had been given a chance to live. Today would have been the baby’s birthday.

To better understand the trauma of the young woman, we must first understand what she went through that fateful morning.

Lets take a look at the actual procedure of a partial birth abortion. The abortion is preceded by a three-day preparation involving the mechanical dilation of the cervix. The operation takes place in five separate stages: first, guided by the help of an ultrasound, the person performing the abortion will arrange the position of the fetus in the uterus, then will grab hold of the Feet  of the unborn child with forceps. They will then pull the legs of the infant from the womb and extract the baby’s whole body up to the head. Next an incision is made at the base of the infant’s skull through which the abortionist inserts the point of a pair of scissors to puncture the cranium. A tube is then inserted and the brain and the content of the cranium are sucked out. At this point, to conclude the abortion, the head, now reduced in size, is extracted and the now dead infant is completely pulled out from the mothers Vaginal opening. Now, keep in mind the infant has been given zero pain medication and can feel all the pain that goes along with this barbaric procedure.

As the 17 year old opened her eyes, coming out of the anesthesia, she realized the “procedure” was over and she caught a glimpse of the nurse putting a baby into a plastic trash bag. The baby was a girl. It was her daughter. The head was collapsed and the infant was obviously dead. The sight of that little baby will be with her as long as she lives.

The relationship of the now 20 year old young woman and her mother has greatly suffered. They rarely even speak to each other these day’s. Both of them are suffering from damage done to them by the legal so called medical procedure that was supposed to give the young woman a better future without a child interfering with it.

Whether your stance is pro-choice or pro-life, you know that late term partial birth abortion is not just removing a mass of tissue from the mother. It is actually visibly ending the life of a viable infant. That should be of concern to all of us regardless of which side of the abortion issue we are on.
