The beginning of the school year is ruined for Penn State, as the body of freshman Joe Dado, missing since Sunday morning, was found early Monday evening, after extensive search by police, family, and K9 units, outside a mechanical room in Hosler building.

He was killed by the 15 foot drop, and was found by repairmen responding to a service call made earlier that day. Apparently, he was seen leaving a party at Phi Gamma Delta, and alcohol may have been a cause of death.

Thought to be a rite of initiation to be laughed at after he was a brother of the frat, this tradition may have led to his death. While the cause of death has yet to be confirmed, the drunkenness that resulted from the party seems to be the cause of death.

The cloud of sorrow and mourning passes over Penn State University this week, as another soul is lost to carelessness and fun gone wrong
