The news
There is a shocking crime about a model who is accused of castrating a journalist with a corkscrew. Renato Seabra (21) was accused of killing Carlos Castro (65). Seabra is a Portuguese model was linked to celebrity journalist Castro. They were on a vacation in Manhattan. The two were in a hotel room and got into an argument on January 7, 2011. The argument turned violent.
Renato Seabra admitted to attacking Carlos Castro. He attacked Carlos for over an hour. Renato castrated Carlos with a corkscrew, stabbed him in the face, slammed a monitor in his head, and stomped on his face. Seabra started the attack by choking Castro. Then he started to stab him with the corkscrew in his face and groin. Then he proceeded to hit him in the head with the monitor and stomped on his face while wearing his shoes.
After Seabra attacked Castro, he got dressed and left the hotel. When he was approached by people wondering about Castro, he dodged the questions at first. Then he told them that Castro was in the hotel and even gave them the room number.
Castro inevitably died from head injuries and strangulation. Seabra remains in Bellvue Hospital where he is awaiting trial. He is pleading not guilty of this crime. It was rumored that Castro and Seabra were lovers, but Castro’s mother denies these rumors.
My thoughts on this story
I am very shocked by this story. I can’t believe Seabra was so cruel as to kill Castro this way. He must have had serious mental issues to kill someone this way. I wonder what Castro could have done to make Seabra angry enough to hurt him like this. I wonder if Castro was drunk at the time of the attack since he didn’t fight off Seabra. How could he let him get close enough for Seabra to stab him with a corkscrew? That must have been some argument they had in order for Seabra to flip out the way he did. I wonder if Castro may have broken up with Seabra to cause him to kill him the way he did. I doubt if Seabra would have done this if they were happy.
I wonder why Seabra would plead not guilty when he admitted to what he did. His attorney must think they will be able to get Seabra off on this plea. I think he should be in prison for what he did. What do you all think about this story? Do you think Renato Seabra should go to prison for what he did to Carlos Castro?
Very painful. Most women have never appreciated the pain feel down under and the thought of castration alone is enough to freeze a man to death.

That’s a terrible crime indeed! There is a mystery there that we don’t know yet.
Simply horrible. We may never know what transpired between the two guys. An update with this would be interesting. Yes he should pay for his crime as the judge and or jury see it. Hopefully justice will be done.

This is some kind of cruelty that is akin to beasts! I can not just comprehend this degree of cruelty!
The guy that got killed apparently promised to break the other into the world of fashion in exchange for being his boyfriend. Seabra snapped after the old man started being more and more pushy depite him not actually being gay, or so he says. The victim was very well known over here as an old tv idiot, too bad what happened to him, but he kind of had this coming… luring random people on facebook can have this effect…
