Police search for physician with Jackson at time of death.

LA Police are searching for a doctor who supposedly treated megastar Michael Jackson before his death. It is reported that Dr. Conrad Robert Murray was the only witness on scene when the star initially collapsed.

Authorities have confirmed they have impounded Murray’s car which was found outside Jackson’s Bel Air Mansion.  LA police are desperate to speak to the cardiologist as he has not signed a death certificate. An LAPD spokesman told The Guardian this is a big issue, “It’s now part of the overall death investigation” he confirmed.

Speculation had already surrounded the sudden death of the star after reports of anxiety over the pressure of his upcoming 50 concert ‘farewell’ tour. With a history of pain killer abuse, many are beginning to speculate whether the unexpected death of Jackson could have been linked to this. A Jackson family lawyer, Brian Oxmon, told news channel CNN “Drugs had been part of Jackson’s life since the 1980s” and confirmed that he had always been worried about Jackson’s use of drugs.

According to some media reports, Jackson was injected with Demerol approximately an hour before his death. However, with no comment from the police and an autopsy currently underway, confirmation of this has not been received.
