New Smelly Billboards Erected in The Us
A funny news story I have heard about. Do you believe everything you read?
Drivers on a highway in the US are being confronted with the unmistakable odour of grilled steak following the erection of the nation’s first scented billboard. The ad, for a local supermarket chain, uses fans to waft the odour of charcoal, meat and black pepper over the road. Its designers are convinced it will be more effective than a normal display board. “It will defiantly catch your attention because you have to breathe,” said Harald Vogt, of the Scent Marketing Institute.
The story certainly seems true but the thoughts behind it seem to have been made by a 13-year old. Drivers do have to breathe, just like every other human being, but most of the time they will probably have their car windows up. And what happens if it rains?
