Oil platform explodes off louisianas coast, another major oil spill? was there even an oil sill? did anyone get hurt??

September 2, 2010 an oil platform exploded off of Louisiana’s Coast. About 200 miles west from the BP’s oil spill. This is the second disaster in the gulf of Mexico in the last five months, but the coast guard reported that there was not an oil spill, and there was no one killed.

All the members of the crew were rescued from the water, they were found together in insulated survival suits called “Gumby Suits”.

The captain of the boat that rescued the platform crew said his vessel was 25 miles away when it received a distress call Thursday morning from the platform.

So the only thing we can say is thank GOD this is not another major oil spill or oil spill at all, and that no one was hurt.
