My opinion on Pontiac being discontinued.

The rumors are that Pontiac is going bankrupt. This means there will be no more Pontiac manufacturing and producing vehicles.  It would be ashame for Pontiac to quit manufacturing cars after them producing luxury vehicles since 1928. Pontiac was introduced by General Motors. The first Pontiac Vehicle in 1932 produced 41hp off of a 3.1 Litre V6.  In 1961-1970 Pontiac started producing outstanding vehicles, The Bonneville, GTO, and thew Fire bird.

They started offering 8 cylinder engines in these vehicles. The output power of these cars were 4x the amount of the first Pontiac vehicles. In 1973 Pontiac introduced the Grand Am, as well the Pontiac Grand Prix. In 1984 Pontiac introduced the Fiero. This vehicle was a two seated, Mid engine coupe.  In 1982 along came the Trans am, Which was featured in the television show Knight Rider.

Pontiac has been producing these vehicles for 81 years. The new generation vehicles are pushing outstanding power of 400hp out of 8 cylinder engines. Pontiac improved there vehicles over the years. It would a shame to see such a great vehicle manufacturer to be discontinued. Long live Pontiac.
