A man wants to marry her boyfriend. A woman wants to walk in the aisle with her girl best friend. These are not new to our society. Same sex marriage has been a very big issue all around the globe.
A man wants to marry her boyfriend. A woman wants to walk in the aisle with her girl best friend. These are not new to our society. Same sex marriage has been a very big issue all around the globe. The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court said that when we barred the same sex marriage it will be unconstitutional. The constitutionality of same sex marriage was proposed by the Senate to the court of law that will create a civil union for all same sexes and that they will also experience the same protection and rights under the law.
The New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said that legalizing the same sex marriage will create a better equality. According to him he doesn’t want to be the governor who just proposes marriage equality. He doesn’t want to be the governor who lobbies for marriage equality. He doesn’t want to be the governor who fights for marriage equality. What he wants is to be the governor who signs the law that makes equality a reality in the state of New York.
The religious group, on the other hand refuses the legalization of same sex marriage. Doing so will alter fundamentally the historical and moral understanding about marriage. Approval of the bill, according to the head of the Catholic diocese will create confusion and impulsion. The church will have the struggle to be ridiculed and the people will have the tendency to laugh at them and step foot of the Christian teachings.
Voting was made if to legalize or not the same sex marriage. The vote on June 24 evening is 33-29 and the bill was signed into a law buy Governor Cuomo. This will take effect later July. The validation will now make New York the sixth US state who allow the same-sex marriage. The other countries that have the permissions are in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, New Hampshire and Vermont.
Legalization of same sex marriage has been particularly proposed by the activist homosexuals. They have the right to speak and be heard. They are also human beings who want to fight for their right. However, according to the Christian community, it is immoral and should not be followed. We do not know the reason why these things were permitted and why oppositions were not heard. People will now think wisely and beliefs from now on will be respected more.
