Tampa Airport Full-body Scan of 12 Year Old Girl Without Parental Consent

This is the latest story about the now infamous airport body scanners. There are many concerns about these machines. People are worried about potential health hazards. Now that they are putting these machines in many airports, in this country, what will people say when their children get selected to go through? In one girls case, her parents were not even present to give consent and she had no idea what was going on, until it was too late.

Let me make this perfectly clear so that there is no misunderstanding. A 12 year old girl was put into an airport scanner and she was viewed naked by adults. This happened in Tampa, Florida. She was traveling with a family member, not her parents. Had she known better and opted out of the scan? Well then she would have been given a pat down by an airport employee. So, your choices are, be seen nude, or be groped.

As an adult, I will make the decision whether to be violated or not. This child did not have a choice, she didn’t even know what was happening! This little girl was violated! And no one cares. They are putting these machines in airports, all over this country and many other countries. The UK took the initiative to ban the use of these machines on minors. So why haven’t we? Why in the world was this girl selected from a line of people, to have this done to her? Who in there right mind would target a little girl, who was only traveling from one state to another, inside of our country?

Every single decent human being on this planet should be outraged and frothing mad over what is going on. If we don’t protect our children, we are all monsters. Every single one of us. This must stop. If it doesn’t, it will be my child or your child, next.
