Tanker Truck Explodes in West Palm Beach

A tanker truck exploded in West Palm Beach, Florida, carrying atleast 8,000 gallons of gasoline. The crash happened near interstate 95 going south. Surprisingly, no one was seriously hurt but the northern bound lanes were closed and reopened after several hours.

The cause of the accident was due to the truck avoiding an abandoned vehicle. It swerved and became separated as the cab burst out into flames. The crash happened near West Palm Beach Airport. This was one accident where the people involved were very lucky, including those heading toward the airport to travel or pick up their relatives.
