Why Swine Flu Had Comparatively Affected Mexicans More Than Other Countries

Influenza experts are struggling to find an answer to the growing affects of swine flu in Mexico.

While the same swine flu virus found in other countries are not as lethal as those found in Mexico.

How come the same flu can have inconsistent affects over a geographical spread is driving scientists crazy. Swine flu virus had probably killed a large number in Mexico; where as places in United States with swine flu surprisingly had only one death.

Could there be two different viruses of the same disease? One that compounds drastic effect, while the other with a negligible affect.

Those who suffered from swine flu in Mexico had reportedly been struck with severe pneumonia, one that causes severe complications of respiratory failure. A strong fever sets in and then followed by cough, sore throat, body ache, headache and fatigue.

Those who reside in other countries, especially in United States had a somewhat milder affects of swine flu than those in Mexico.

Research scientists had been baffled by these developments.

They had come out with the list of possible reasons of such outcome.

• Firstly, they say that victims of swine flu in Mexico might have nutritional deficiencies
• Victims of swine flu in Mexico could also have some other deficiencies, or infections which lead to severe complications in them
• It is also possible that medical facilities are not the best in Mexico in compare to other places in the world where swine flu had struck
• Since, the swine flu virus had originated in Mexico, therefore the affects of virus weakens as it reach far off places
• It could also be possible that fewer swine flu cases in other countries had made it difficult for the virus to spread fast in the surrounding areas

There are many thoughts that have emerged during the course of the event.

The scientist says that deaths in other countries are on its way. It’s early days now, with the passage of time, more deaths would be witnessed in other countries.

On the other hand, Mexico is probably quite unlucky to witness such deaths. They never expected swine flu to grip as it has. The reaction time of preventing the spread of the disease was a bit late. Nevertheless, the Mexican government had given its best shot to get rid of swine flu, and we could expect favorable results very soon.
