It’s no longer news that Cardi B has filed for divorce against her rapper husband, Offset. New reports, however, suggest that she isn’t too happy about the way her lawyers filed the documents for the divorce process.
It would appear that the divorce papers filed by the hip hop diva’s representatives contain quite contetious language, which could make the proceedings confrontational. Entertainment website TMZ had reported earlier that Cardi B was suing for primary custody of their 2 year old daugther, Kulture. This suggested that Cardi B didn’t see Offset as a good parent.
She has, however, dismissed the reports has false, and has gone on to reveal that only joint custody will be requested in court.
The Grammy Award winning rapper also poured cold water on gossip gists that she will be demanding child support payments from Offset. She made it clear that she is more than capable to cater to the needs of her daughter without his financial input.
Cardi B and Offset got married in 2017 in a secret wedding that took place in Georgia and they have a 2 year old daughter from the union.
