Late Trebek to be Replaced by Mike Richards as Host of Jeopardy

by Anthony McKenzie

The quest for a brand new host of the popular game show, Jeopardy! has finally reached a conclusion. Executive Producer of the show, Mike Richards is close to finalizing a deal that will see him replace the late Alex Trebek, main man of the renowned game show.

Reports suggests that Richards was discreetly selected behind the scenes about half a month prior…with the arrangement now nearly official.

Sony Pictures Television will also be making an official announcement on Richards selection in a few days

Richards, who has lots of experience, was generally welcomed by fans when he filled in for Trebek. He joined  an ensembled list of celebs who hosted the show in place of the dearest Trebek who was then battling with cancer.

Trebek lost a long-lasting fight with cancer in November after decades the helms of the game show.
