The father of a boy who was found dead in a shed located at a Missouri residence has been arrested. The Bolivar Herald Free Press had earlier reported that the kid’s grandparents found his lifeless body in a outbuilding (shed) at their Missouri home on Sunday night.
Lt. Roger Baron of the Bolivar Police department also confirmed to the news outlet, evidence of physical violence on the boy’s corpse.
Other details released by the police department’s chief, Mark Webb, suggests that the child was at the receiving end of fatal head injuries. The location of the injuries also validates Bolivar PD suspicion that the attack was from behind.
It was Lt. Baron, however, who confirmed the arrest of the boy’s father. He also finally put to the bed the idea of the attack being a possibly random act. “This means residence of the community are in no danger,” he said.
The motive for the murder has also not been established so it is unclear what may have led to the death of the young boy.
