It’s nearly time to bid farewell to Issa (Issa Rae), Lawrence (Jay Ellis), Molly (Yvonne Orji), and Kelli (Natasha Rothwell). Insecure covered its 5th and last season back in June and lastly, fans have their very first take a look at the last season of HBO’s hit program plus information on the best date.

With the caption, “One last opportunity for a little reflection,” the clip opens with Rae’s character and her renowned secondary personality, “mirror bi h.” In the one-minute teaser, the voiceover tells, “Wow Issa, you were so easy then. I simply wan na be drama-free and pleased. I keep frontin’ to everyone like I’m not frightened about what’s next for me, however I am horrified.” Of course, in real mirror bi h style, the mournful teaser rapidly turns humorous.

When season 4 ended, Issa and Lawrence reunited, however Condolences– sorry, Condola (Christina Elmore)– showed up pregnant and exposed she’s keeping the child. Someone play Usher’s “Confessions Part II.” Issa’s relationship with Molly was lowkey stretched, simply as Molly’s relationship with Andrew (Alexander Hodge) ended. Tiffany (Amanda Seales) handled post-partum anxiety by fleing and Nathan (Kendrick Sampson) wound up being among Issa’s closest confidants. Fans still required more from Kelli’s story.

Insecure‘s showrunner, Prentice A. Penny required to Twitter to reveal that the last season would end on Dec. 26, composing, “we fittna f k up your [Brismas].”
