Online Learning App Reveals an 18-year-old Sexually Assaulting a 7-year-old in Chicago

An 18-year-old man was spotted Thursday, in the West Chesterfield neighbourhood, sexually abusing a 7-year-old female while an online learning was ongoing.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. in the 200-block of 89th Place when an online remote learning app revealed a girl carrying out sexual activities on a man.

Following police’ response, Catrell Walls was arrested. The girl is undergoing evaluation at the Comer Children’s Hospital, police said. There is no information about her condition at the moment.

The suspect is being charged with a felony of predatory criminal sexual assault of a minor under the age of 13.

Information is unavailable regarding the online learning app nor the school it is associated with. No witness has also been named.

Area Two Detectives are currently investigating the incident.
